Movie, Billiards and Coffee

Last night, Darwin and I watched Must Love Dogs at Galleria in Sherman Oaks. It's a cute funny movie based from a book about online dating.. I dont really believe in online dating coz you dont really know if the other party is telling the truth, he might be a criminal or something. Anyways, the movie is well written with dialogue that's fresh and clear of any cliche.. I love Diane and John's acting. John Cusack gained a lil weight though but he's still cute... The scene that I really enjoyed was their conversation on their 2nd date and they're in a hurry on looking for a drug store... You'd know what I mean when you see the movie

Food Trip
Saturday, I was craving for porkchop with Tempura batter so I went to Seafood City to do some grocery. I also bought ingredients for Sinigang but the "gulay pangsinigang" which is packed and sliced is sold out... I love to get that packed thingie coz it's "ready to go"... I dont need to cut the string beans, and there's even gabi and eggplant on it. At 8ish, the Forces girls have a scheduled YM chat session...but only me, Aileen and Abbie were online.. But it was fun.. We talked about a lotta stuff and I also DISCOVERED a lot of stuff. hehehe Next time, there should me a punishment to those who can't make it... hehehe j/k

Billiards and Arcade
Friday, played billiards at Canoga Park Bowl in Winnetka with Darwin. It was fun coz we never played pool together and both of us don't know how to hit the ball correctly so that the target (ball) will go to the pocket.. So we keep on hitting and hitting until we run out of time. Played DDR at the arcade afterwards and I think I'm good at it compared to the dance pad used in PS2 mainly because my jump is limited coz the people downstairs (of the apartment) might get mad...

Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill Acoustic Album brings back my college memories. I didn't really listen to her (new) acoustic album until Archie sent me a link to Hear Music of Starbucks and he asked me if I already have it.. Actually, I got it since last month but it was only widely released last July 26. How did I get it???? my source is really good =P You know who you are =) Anyway, her acoustic album marks the 10th anniversary of her first album. Damn.. 10 years has passed already?! I remember the time when Aileen, Charo, Ajie and I (aka Exordium) watched her concert at Folk Arts Theater.. Aileen, do you have pictures of us?? hehehe





Coffee
Thursday, had an eye exam at Lens Crafters and Nix accompanied me coz he's gonna meet his aunt at the mall too. My astigmatism has gone bad. With the tests that the optometrist gave me, I can only see the biggest letters and this is with the old presciption glasses... it's really that bad.. Anyways, I decided to replace my eyeglasses so I can have a backup just in case I lose the new one. We had coffee afterwards at Coffee bean and he keeps telling me that their coffee tastes better than Starbucks... but I can't taste the difference... I wanna try the Tazo Green Tea Frap though.. anyone???
