Play.. Convention... Coffee.. The life!!!

FINALLY!! I was able to negotiate my salary with our president 2 weeks ago and he told me how important and valuable I am with his company =) He wants me to push harder and to keep the ball rolling. I told him I want to face new challenges and he knows that I deliver on every projects he assigns to me.. Oh well, I just hope he'd be happy with what I do... I'm currently handling two project simultaneously and that's the reason why I havn't updated my blog for sooooo long. I am constantly bombarded with a lot of calls from 2 companies because we're setting up a new system to our webserver. I hope it all goes well.. I know it will =P Thanks to your prayers =)

So what's goin' on.. My life starts every weekend..

Saturday (Aug 13) - Did some grocery in the morning, went to Northridge to pick-up the ipod of my cousin and I bought a webcam at Fry's. My mom is making kulit on me getting a webcam for the past couple of days so she could see me while were chatting at YM. =P The night ended with us watching the play by Steve Martin called.. “Picasso at the Lapine Agile” at LA Valley College

The play was ok but there are times I can't understand what the actors were saying. Einsten sounds like a Chinese guy and Picasso looks stupid when he does those hand gestures and foot stomping. I think it's his way to keep us awake. =P After the play, I asked Darwin if we can hangout at the Galleria coz I really like the ambiance of that place.. We had coffee and took some pictures...







Sunday (Aug 14) - I called mom to let her know that I got a webcam and if she can buy me Horlicks (there's this snack we bought at Fry's called Astronaut food and it tastes like it....) After that 10min international call, I saw my car's window bent out and someone stole my car stereo =( I panicked so I called Darwin, talked to the manager's mom and I was about to report it to the police but Darwin told me it's just a hassle.. so I didnt call the police. I met him up at Joni's coz he had his car repaired too.. the break pads need to be replaced..

But that didn't stop us from going to the Science Fiction Convention in LA.. =P More pics..









I got me a new pair of sunglasses.... Darwin bought a lot of comics...He loves it!! I asked him how geek he is.. =P He is 2% geek daw.. hehehe





We had a quick lunch at this Chinese resto and went to church to hear mass. I cooked aftrida for dinner while watching Food Network.. =P It inspires me to cook everytime I watch it..

Two Saturdays ago (Aug 6) - Went to China town with Tita Zita and Darwin. We had lunch at Asian Noodle then went shopping at Santee..

Two Sundays ago (Aug 7) - Did some laundry, check the new apartment. Went to church at 6pm then hang out at Barnes and Noble in Burbank. I had Starbucks Iced Tazo Passion Tea and double choco fudge while reading People magazine.. I really miss my magz subscription. I think I'll sign up again.. We had dinner at Bob's Big Boy
