I'm supposed to go white water rafting with my friends at Kern River for the holiday weekend but I decided to visit my cousin who's going to Iraq. We support you cuz and I will pray for you!!!
Friday night is date night.. We went to The Grove to watch Pirates of the Carribean but all tickets were sold out, so we ended up watching Disturbia.. It is a REALLY good and scary movie. After the movie, we went to Echo club and met up with DJ Denkym which is one of Darwin's teacher at Rehab.
Saturday, we went to Venice beach for a photo shoot. I tried my telephoto lens which is quite good and I was able to take pictures of birds which is 10 feet away from me. Here are some of the pix.
Later that day, I got dust on my lens and I can see it through my viewfinder. So we went to Best Buy and bought a lens cleaner. I tried to get rid of if but it got stuck there.. The quality of the picture is still perfect but it's distracting to see the dust on the viewfinder. So I read online forums and they suggested to use the "hurricane blower". We went to Janet's BBQ picnic at Balboa park with her family. All the barkadas were there.
Sunday, I went to Bakersfield to visit my family. We watched all the teleseryes at TFC then I fixed my uncle's desktop. I also taught my aunt how to scan pictures but the driver is not installed on their new PC yet. So I DL'd the one for Windows Vista... Oh, and Vista sucks... hehe.. She needs the pictures for their silver wedding anniversary on August. She also gave me the CDs so Darwin can have it on his Serrato. He's going to be the DJ for the event =)
Here's one of old school pix I scanned. I'm on far left with my aunt and cousin.
Monday, I went back to LA and had lunch at the kambals. We hanged out a lil bit then we went to Guitar Center to pickup Darwin's DJ gear. Then we went to Target to do some grocery then I bought the hurricane blower at Ritz for my camera. I got rid of the dust. =) WHEW! that's lots of errands.
