I (heart) N.Y.

I just watched the archived streaming video of New Year's Eve 2004 Ball dropping event in Time Square earlier. You may check it here. We weren't able to see the ball drop from where we stand because it's being blocked by the Buffalo billboard. 10 steps is all we need and we'd be at the corner of Planet Hollywood where the ball is visible.. Security is really tight, you can't even go near Time Square after 4pm.. Good thing our hotel is within that area and we're able to pass security.. Thanks to our GOLDEN KEY (as what Steve coined it.. hehehe).

All of us sang the New york, new york song of Frank Sinatra after the ball drop. I really miss New York. I always check earthcam to see what's going on there.

Start spreading the news, I'm leaving today
I want to be a part of it - new york, new york
These vagabond shoes, are longing to stray
Right through the very heart of it - new york, new york

I wanna wake up in a city, that doesn't sleep
And find I'm king of the hill - top of the heap

These little town blues, are melting away
I'll make a brand new start of it - in old new york
If I can make it there, I'll make it anywhere
It's up to you - new york, new york

New york, new york
I want to wake up in a city, that never sleeps
And find I'm a number one top of the list, king of the hill
A number one

These little town blues, are melting away
I'm gonna make a brand new start of it - in old new york
And if I can make it there, I'm gonna make it anywhere

It's up to you - new york new york
