This is the second Bachelorette party for Janet and this time it's exclusive to van Nuys gf's =P coz the first time we had was with Janet's friends and most of them are still under 21. You cant go to some of the club and you cant drink alcohol if you're under 21. There are 18 and over clubs but those are for babies.. you dont want to go there. haha So, we meet up at the kambals, then took Jannie's 4Runner to Tokyo Delve's. She doesn't have her GPS with her so we took the side street instead of the freeway. We almost got into an accident coz we're about to turn left on Woodman to Magnolia, and this limo tried to beat the red lights on Woodman. We're all like.. what has just happened?
A lil background, here in the US, drivers can make a left turn from a green light without a left arrow (aka yield on left turn). On a busy street there should always be a chance for at least one to two cars to turn left during the yellow. This is accomplished efficiently by pulling to near the center of the intersection and then turn as soon as the oncoming traffic stops.
So, we're all in shock.. but didnt stop us from going to the show/restaurant. When we got there at 8pm, everybody was LOUD and saying SAKE BOMB!.. When I say sake you say bomb ...... sake BOMB ...sake BOMB. The food is ok but what I like about this place are the singing waiters. Actually, they are just lip-syncing a musical comedy and their theme is Super Heroes. So, there's Superman, Batman, Spider-man, Incredible Hulk.. It's a 2-hour show so we left at 10pm and we're about to go to Vegas for the after party... but Janet's mom is strict and she has to be home by 2am, so we went to Zanzibar instead..
MORE LATER..
