Limited access...

Finally, I've got internet access here at work. I think I've waited long enough that I dont have anything to post on my blog. Did you notice that I all I have are pictures.. haha I usually blog around noon. Oh yeah, I'm working on a different company now because they have a better offer and it's on a corporate environment. I only stayed 6 months on my previous job and that's the shortest time I stayed on a company. Usually, I stay upto 3 years.

Anyways, I can access all search engines but web chats, yahoo/google mail, friendster/myspace, streaming radio, youtube are ALL blocked. That sucks huh! I usually get complete access on ALL systems but now I have limited access.. I need to find a chat tool for blogger FAST so I can still communicate with my friends and family. I might set it up tonight. So, how was my first week on my new job?? Here goes...

Mon - orientation, photo id, parking badge, etc.
Tue - new hire training (whole day)
Wed - I got a Welcome balloon =) research on new portals, more readings
Thu - create a project charter about portals
Fri - first status meeting with the team

Yesterday, I set-up meetings (through Lotus Notes) about the systems that we support. I need those information so I can create a Production Support Plan for our department. Back to Lotus Notes, wow, it's totally different compared to Outlook and I think this is a more powerful tool coz they have forms, database, etc. Outlook is user friendly though.

Earlier, I was on a project management training and had a couple of meetings. Tomorrow I'll have another in-depth training on project management for 4 hours. I asked my boss if I can go straight to the training at 9am and he said yes.. that means more sleep time for me... coz I get to work at 8am. haha

This is fun!!!

Hi, Mitz! :)

Congratulations on the new job! Tin, Aileen and I all love Lotus Notes. We always compare tips and tricks too make our e-mail life easier.

Try these sites: http://www.meebo.com (almost all IMs are integrated in that site).

http://www.bloggar.com (it's a client interface of blogger, I used to use them).

Hope everything is well!

Thanks girls. I actually dont know how to move multiple emails to a folder sa Lotus Notes. Sa Outlook kse Ctlr-Left click lng, so I tried it sa Lotus Notes and it didnt work. So I asked my co-worker and all you have to do is 'check' the email you want to move then drag it to the folder.. haha

Nasanay na ako sa Microsoft apps. How do you color-code incoming emails?

Hi, Mitz!

Check out the "Preference" page (I think). Madaming options doon to customize the look like signature, change colors for incoming mails and the like. :)

Yeah, drag and drop lang ang pag move ng files. Naiinis lang ako sa Lotus Notes kasi wala syang folder option sa inbox for each messages sender unlike Outlook. That's my only complain.
