I've just signed up for Adobe Photoshop Express which is a free photo editor over the net. It's pretty sleak coz you can edit photo just like what you normally do in its desktop version, but of course you only have limited features. What I like about this is that if I need to make quick touch up of a picture on a machine without Photoshop, this is the solution. It comes with 2GB free disk space. Right now, it's only available in the US.
Check it out: https://www.photoshop.com/express/index.html
Oh, and it's earth hour tonight in google, so I guess it's my turn to turn off the lights.. Good night peeps!

March Birthday Celebrants
Four of our friends celebrated their birthday last Saturday at Dave & Busters. There's 15 of us in our group and getting a table was really hard. They don't accept any reservations so when we got there, the wait is already 2 hours. We just decided to get a table near the bar and ordered appetizers & cocktails (lava flow) while playing games. It's like Chuck E. Cheese for adults. I played Dance Dance Revo, Digital Jump Rope. I won enough tickets to get ourselves a Dave & Busters Coffee Mug. Jannie got us D&B shot glass. Sweet!

March Madness
I have been missing lunch for the past couple of weeks now. My co-workers invite me to go out and have lunch with them but since I'm so stressed out and I don't feel like eating, my schedule got messed up! My friends have noticed that I'm loosing weight.. ha, I think that's the secret! But I don't want work to take over my life.
So, I went back taking photography classes and I will soon enroll at Michael's for scrap booking class. Oh, I love anything to do with pictures!
Darwin and I were watching this show in Food Channel and it's all about steak and where to find the best one. Philly Cheesesteaks was pioneered by Pat's in Philadelphia , and with that, we craved for Philly cheesesteaks. There's a restaurant that I found in Google Maps at North Hollywood so we had dinner there. I like their decor coz it's all nostalgic and there's a lot of Coke products. We remembered Abbie coz she's a Coke collector (Are you still, Abs?). We're actually planning to go to New York this fall and we might stop by in Philadelphia as well since it's just a couple of hours away. We will also try Peter Luger Steakhouse in NYC

I (heart) Tokidoki
I just got myself a new Tokidoki shirt with cactus girl on it. I also like the flash video at their homepage (tokidoki.it), it's nice to have Japan as the backdrop. I just learned that tokidoki means sometimes in Japan. I just love tokidoki!
We also went to Fry's earlier to check out the Windows XP license that mom needs, then we went to Target to check out the mountain bike, had quick snack/dinner at Portos, then we headed to downtown Burbank to check out the music store, then we rented Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.. then now I'm blogging =P

Late nights at work
I have finally completed one out of the five projects I'm working on for the past two months which will enhance the online portal system for Customer Service Department. This new system will roll-out late April to all 4,000+ users. We will also be integrating a LOT of applications to this system and it's really stressful because I've been dealing with different groups, meeting here and there.... but I love the challenge! Hey, look at my desk... it's soooo messy, but I make it a point that I clear it up when I leave =P The implementation started at 5pm and I'm in a conference call with 3 of my team in Texas. I'm the only one in Cali! We're also sending IM's through sametime (an online chat for employees only) to test if the new system is working 100%. It took us two hours to validate and verify everything. It was a success!

LA Marathon
I'm so proud of our Darwin!!! He finished the marathon last March 2... Good job! We took the train to Staples center from NoHo and it took us 20 minutes or so to get a parking spot. We had a lot of firsts too, like it's the first time Alan and Sherinie took the metro. It's funny coz we keep checking the maps, making sure that we don't miss the stops. And oh, I got caught by the police crossing the pedestrian lane on red -- Nice! He let me pass though =P I'm just so excited to see our runners at Mile 19.. and we did reach them.. just in time!
And yeah.... 26.2 miles is just a number =P
