Ok, right after my class last night, I searched for the nearest In-N-Out burger around Culver City but I didn't get any results from my Nav. I dunno, I just pictured how delicious it is and I can't get it out of my mind. Anyways, I know there's one right at Washington but I don't know the exact address. I dont wanna get lost in the middle of the night. So I called Darwin and AJ so they can check the address online for me but I cant reach them. I called my other cousin, Chris and he picked up!!! I know I should have just dialed 411 for assistance but I dont wanna put on hold that long and sometimes the call gets cut off. So, I got there around 10pm and there was a looong line. Just great =( I waited for 15minutes then got home at around 1030pm.
I watched Windstruck. Grraaaabe, I cried for 5 minutes =P It's the scene when the guy said goodbye to the girl for the last time. You're right Aileen, it's better than My Sassy Girl.
My fave quote:
Kyung-jin Yeo: [calling after him] Myung-woo, I'm sorry.
Myung-woo Ko: [turns around] My name's not sorry.
Aaaawww...
After the movie, I installed VB.Net to my laptop. I got it for free coz its part of Santa Monica Community College's MSDN Academic Alliance with Microsoft. Sweet. One of my classmates taught me how to install it coz it only worked when he followed the right sequence of installation. It's good to know people outside of work. I got the chance to chat with Annie, Dianne, Jose, Edgar and Allan. We talked about our teacher. Our prof is nice but sometimes he keeps on repeating the same thing all over again. Annie told us about Ratemyprofessor.com and I knew all about it coz Archie showed that to me before I enrolled. Our professor has a good rating but he's not HOT.. Yeah, you can rate your professor's hotness level. hahaha

Going Bluetooth
I've just successfully created a shortcut that will enable my bluetooth in 3 steps rather than 8 looong steps. FYI, you won't be able to hear your personalized mp3 ringtone when the bluetooth is enabled. The ring tone is replaced to a boring ring-ring. So, when I want to disable my bluetooth, it takes me forever to do that. Also, I wanna here the ringtones I personally edited (thru Mobile Phone Tool) and that way, I'd also know who's calling coz I've assigned different tones to my friends that matches their personality.. you know, sumthin for fun. The most played ringtone is Stickwitu and Your Beautiful. Oh, there's this one time when my boss heard Your Beautiful and he said... "Mitzi, is that for you?" Like he's telling me.. Are you for real? hahaha
I use my bluetooth at work and while driving and I'd say it's really helpful. You know, it would keep my eyes on the road and I'd prevent myself from getting a $20 fine. Also, I can sneak using it at work coz they recently sent out a memo on cellphone usage =P

The "Talunan" Look
I have to make this post REALLY fast or I might lose my internet connection =P We gambled here in Vegas and we lost a LOT of money =(
****
Cont'd on 6/19
Ok-ok. I tried to add more info about our Vegas trip here in my blog the other night but my prepaid internet access in the hotel lapsed. Anyways, I wanted to share my experience right after that tragic moment of losing $180 in 10 minutes. It's all good though. it's fun.. coz I was winning the first 3 sets of Texas Holdem Poker and later on losing everything. MALAS TALAGA!!! and so goes the saying.. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas... coz you dont have your money with you..
Darwin and I were singing Francis M's Ubos Biyaya.. Bukas Nakatunganga.. on our way to the parking lot. Both of us don't have any money coz he lost too.. Sherwin and Jannie lost too.. We're all UNLUCKY. huhuhu I told him no gimmick for next week and we need to work more hours para mabawi yun natalo namin.
But inspite of all of the misfortunes, we had the following:
1) Our room was upgraded to a suite. Whoo! it was so nice.. the bathroom is BIG and it comes with a bathtub and a shower.
2) We had dinner at Wynn's Buffet and the food was so delicious. We ate with Sherwin, Jannie and her family to celebrate Father's Day.. Oh, I miss my dad.
3) We met Willie Revillame at Wynn's Buffet. We had a quick chat and some photo-ops
4) I got $10 free game at Wynn's and Darwin got a Paris shirt.
5) Saved Gas. Only half of the gas tank was consumed from Vegas to LA. Thanks to Prius =P.. It's my first time to drive four hours straight as in NON STOP.. no stopover.. whatever you call it. I love driving though. It's fun. I let Darwin rest coz he's sooo tired. Aaawww.

Wowowee!!! =P with Willie at Wynn's Buffet

HHmmm.. what else.. (more later)

Tin's Bachelorette
Ok.. two weeks has passed and I havn't done any posts for my Pismo trip. =P I'm too busy, I even forgot to schedule my annual check-up. I called my doctor yesterday for an appointment.. So now it's all set on July 14. I need to organize!!! I still do my checklist and all but my organizer is toooo small. I know I should get a PDA but I still want to write stuff, make comments on it, etc.
Anyways, I did a lot of errands yesterday. I went to the library to pickup a book, then to Best Buy to return the cordless phone. At Best Buy, I checked out the new MAC notebook that has Intel processor.. it's pretty fast. I kinda like it coz you won't notice the camera. I didn't even know that there's a camera until I accidentally clicked the iSight application. But I'm still a PC user. I went to the DVD section and I kept checking out the Sex and the City box set but I dont wanna buy it. The House MD dvd is still expensive. It's $40.. good thing I made a copy of it when I rented it at Blockbuster. So I went grocery afterwards coz I dont have any food to eat at my apartment, then went to the bank to deposit some check. Then did some laundry.. Wooo!! That's a lot. I slept while watching TV and I left all lights open. That's how tired I was. =P
So, last Friday I went out with my girlfriends for Tin's bachelorette's party. We literally kidnapped her coz she doesn't know where we're going. Her fiance doesn't have any idea either coz if we let him know, he might not let us go. Anyways, we wore purple beads (you know the one you wear at Mardi gras) while she has this white veil on and she's blindfolded. We took off the blindfold when we reached The Highlands. We watched Hollywood Men and all I can say is OMG. It's a strip bar and that was my first time. It's Mads 3rd and Ollie's 2nd so they let me sit infront with Tins. hahaha We took that bachelorette package for Tins so she'll have stage participation and photo ops with the guys. When she was called, she doesn't know what to do. hahaha. We were all cheering for her.. medyo "tame" pa nga yun ginawa sa kanya eh compared sa other bachelorette's.. The room was full of girls!!! There's 8 of us who went there and it's fun. Yun nga lng we're so hungry na but they still want to stay and go clubbing. We left Hollywood at 11ish then we went to Mads pad for dinner.
Mads prepared two games but I didn't win =( then we had videoke.. of course di mawawala yun.. I left with Kelly and Rhoda and the rest stayed. I got home at 2:30am

The Shilo-4million-pix

The money will go to charity though. People won the bidding and the magazine will be out this Friday. You won't see picture #1 anymore coz gawker.com was sued by People. I got picture #1 last Tuesday thru Pink is the new Black's blog (http://trent.blogspot.com) after hearing from Access Hollywood that the picture leaked over the internet. I thought pic #1 is not authentic but it's exactly similar to pic #2. It was taken on a different angle though
So.. are you Team Angelina or Team Jennifer? I havn't seen The Breakup yet but there's a lot of review that says it's good.
I have just updated my movie list.. tell me if I have missed a good movie so I can rent it =P

X-men and Princess Peach

I finally saw the most talked about movie last Friday... X-men: The Last Stand. It was ok. I think they needed to put more action and less talk.. There's too much drama. Like why would Rogue give up her power just so she can touch her boyfriend, Iceman. I know she loves him but it's just too much d-r-a-m-a... I waited for the scene after the end credits (thanks aileen, delfin and saab)... hmmm... so I guess there's gonna be an X4 then =P
On a brighter side, I like the part when Kitty Pryde told Juggernaut that he's a d**k head. hahaha That really cracked me up.
Tuesday, I had brunch at Good-Ha and I got myself a tocilog (tocino over rice and egg). As I was paying the cashier, I can't help but notice the ripe mango with bagoong, and melon juice.. it's sooo "summery" so I bought it too. I should have taken a couple of shots but I ate it all as I got home =P
I'm done with Super Mario Brothers DS. Right now, I'm playing Princess Peach. It's a fun game..
