:: This is me ::: New Year... New Beginning...

As promised, I'll blog about my New Year's Eve experience. Actually, I'm having second thougths of going to Sherwin's party that night coz I just got off from a flu that I had since Christmas and I don't have any party outfit =P So, I went to Topangga mall for a last minute shopping. I would want to get a True Religion jeans but they don't have the style that I want and damn... it's sooooo expensive. So, I just got me a Seven jeans and had this lady altered it for me coz it's too long. Nordstrom has a very good customer service. I was able to get the altered jeans in 2 hours and the sales lady who's helping me is friendly (and very trendy, i might say). I only paid $40 since I used the $100 gift card from our boss =P

We arrived at Sherwin's condo at 8ish and Jannie's friends are already there. I don't know any of them but they're nice. The only familiar faces from that party are Chai, Jannie, Sherwin and Jun. Good thing Darwin brought his Guitar Hero and Jun has his magic mic with him that helped spice up the party! Chai and I were singing "I Was Dying Inside To Hold You" and Nick's singing its Tagolog version.. eeew! Jannie has her own piece.. she sang "I swear" and she sang her heart out.. Haha and I've mistaken a JLo song as Mariah's...=P I said.. "Oh.... Mariah - Mariah!!" hahaha We were all drunk singing, maybe because of all the drinks that were served... midori sour, the "cake" drink, tequila shots, and sake bomb.

When it's time for the countdown, we had champagne.. kissed.. hugged. Oh it's a blast!!! We were watching the ball drop at Time Square and I can't help but remember my experience there. Oh, I really miss that city =) After the toast, we did the White Elephant (exchange gift) and I got the two basketball size pillows.

Afterwards, Jannie gave Lorac products to all the girls.. (Thanks Jannie) and I got the sparkle eye shadow which I really love. Said our goodbyes at 4ish. Thanks 2005. Welcome 2006!!!

Jan 1 - It's still raining, there's a storm in LA (which is equivalent to Signal #1 in the Phils =P... went to Ikea and had late lunch there, mass at OLP and saw Obi.

Jan 2 - lunch at Cafe Columbia, returned stuff at Gap in Glendale mall, checked Apple store, watched DVDs at home, did some laundry
